Phil Griffin has been a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1976. He started his career at Ernst and Young (formerly Clarkson Gordon) and went on to work for various private companies as Chief Financial Officer. In 1990, he returned to public practice and ultimately, in 2012 merged his practice with Skrypnyk Group.
Phil is known to his owner-managed clients for bringing critical insights into their companies. He manages engagements in all areas of accounting, assurance, tax planning and compliance and strategic and business planning.
In addition to serving the business market, Phil currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of St. Joseph’s Health Care, London and has served on various committees of the hospital board since 2006. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Hospital Association, is a Past-President of Ronald McDonald House in London and was a key member of the organizing committee of that organization’s golf classic from 1985 until 2013. He has served as Secretary of the Irish Benevolent Society of London and Middlesex and has been Treasurer of the London Knights Alumni Foundation since 2005.
In his spare time Phil is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his daughter and grandson.
